Every year to mark Thanksgiving, a U.S. president pardons a turkey. In unrelated news, here's a 1972 Porsche 914 with a Chevy 327 V8 and body panels from three Japanese donors.
Let's give credit here: This Axis and Allies 914 looks far cleaner and better assembled than most of the backyard project cars that pop up on eBay. It's been displayed in public and can travel on its own power, although the dash toupee and the owner's claims that it "corners like no other V8 car can" do raise a few alarms.
The seller admits to a little "ware" on his prize, but says he's trying to downsize his collection, and sweet mother of Modena what a collection it is. One would haphazard a guess that given the number of vehicles parked in a side yard, those aren't actual Ferraris and a Lamborghini Countach, since if they were their value would be several times that of the property they're on. The Corvette appears to have lost a fight with a criminal gang of ground effects salesmen. But all are covered and apparently clean.
If it tickles your fancy, the bidding stands just north of $3,000 with a few days to go. (H/T to a_benz_apart!) [eBay Motors]
