COTD: Evel Knievel Is Not Dead

Evel Knievel passed away in 2007. He was a sack of broken bones that inspired a generation of daredevils, a patron saint of hoonage. He is not dead.

While we were discussing how to indoctrinate the next generation of gearheads, we were reminded by Danguiano that there is an Even Knievel for our young ones, a superhero who dies and is reborn.

I shed a tear the day my 9 year old super girly girl niece grabbed one of my 2 year old nephew's Hot Wheels and started playing with it and said, "look, it's The Stig!"

There is hope for the future, fellow hoons. There is hope.
