It was finally a 911 that looked like the 911s you most loved, finally rid of the globular headlights and overly wavy lines that made the 996 seem so painfully desperate in its newness.


This came to mind for reader NasalRadiator911 upon seeing the new Panamera:

I rarely think about how difficult a new car can make it for people stuck with the old model. That’s mostly because I think new cars are for fools and also I can’t afford one. But it does make me wonder not what car was the hardest act to follow, but what car got totally shamed by the generation that replaced it?
