After years of waiting for a Porsche Panamera that’s not ugly, here we are. This is the new Panamera in all of its 4.0 liter glory.
This car popped up on Chinese internet earlier today (I really need to check my WeChat more often), showing how surprisingly good the new rear end looks.
I mean, man, that is a handsome car. I kind of liked the old car’s lumpy charm (particularly after I sat in one doing 188 mph), but this is just unquestionably well-penned from Porsche.
We even get a shot of the twin-turbo V8, an engine that will be in just about everything the greater Volkswagen Automotive Group empire can cram it in. Power should be in the neighborhood of 550 horsepower, which is nutty.
This particular car, photographed in some sort of official photo booth, also appears to have a central rear touchscreen for the back passengers.
Mostly I’m just happy the car looks neat. The LED headlights and stacked daytime running lights are particularly choice.
I’m just so happy, everyone. A pretty Panamera. Let’s take this all in.
