Aw man! There’s no shame in the Aisle of Shame. My camping pillow for the past couple years was a throw pillow from the random stuff aisle in a Penny (an Aldi competitor in .de) after my actual bought-at-an-outdoors-shop “camping pillow” was just too lumpy to deal with. I recently found a better small pillow to take Read more

This site just went straight to hell after I left, eh?! I will stand by Alanis’ right to have bad pizza opinions, but by golly, this very wrong take is a step TOO FAR.

What the hell? Charcuterie boards are more of an appetizer—and a super fancy one I’ve never seen at Thanksgiving—than a side. Also, where are deviled eggs?! I can’t stand most Thanksgiving food or sides, so I basically lived off deviled eggs, rolls and pie until my parents figured it out and just let me have a steak.

My point is, it’s not rule for the people. It’s rule for whoever has the biggest donations and does the heaviest lobbying. So it might change now with Tesla having a bigger presence in Texas! But it also might not if Cleetus T. Oilbaron has a few dealerships and de facto owns the right state politicians.

As someone who lives in Texas, I can confirm that this state sure tries its darnedest to achieve third world status.

Welcome! Heh, there have been non-US staff writers before (waves to Máté Petrány), but I’m surprised they won’t just let you keep using your UK license here while you get situated.

Oh man, I tried and tried all weekend long the last time I went camping and nothing happened until I was at home, at which point, I absolutely rekt my own toilet. I think I could hear the voice from Mortal Kombat or whatever say “FATALITYYYYY’ as I flushed. It was a nice enough campsite toilet out at Abilene State Read more

Y’all know my one true dumbest but more awesome dream would be to poop in space, right? Not just an up-and-dump situation or an “oops, the vomit comet escaped out the other end” bout of diarrhea. I want to drop a big ol’ dookie in a spot that’s undeniably, irrefutably Actual Space unlike the Bezos vs. Branson Read more
