Weird thing about bearings, is that they don’t wear at predictable rates. Sometimes they will last pretty near forever, and sometimes they wear out before 20K miles. So there is really no point in replacing them as a set, right and left. Read more
You’re absolutely right not to replace the passenger side hub assembly. SKF QA reps have even gone on the record to confirm that, due to many reasons, wheel bearings will wear at different rates. Replacing them at the same time is no guarantee they’ll necessarily go at the same time, so there’s not really any point… Read more
