Everything I read says the EV credit is NOT refundable. This means that the Venn diagram of people with $7,500 in tax liability AND who are below the 300% federal poverty level basically does not exist. Add in “shopping for a car costing more than $27,000" and “owning a place where they could plug in an EV”, and I’m Read more

While visiting my parents in SC, I saw a real PSA billboard on the side of the road that talked about Rhinoceros horns having no medicinal value, and that really sums up all you need to know about SC.

Comment section is just a bunch of keyboard warriors making “I” statements and criticizing young people. It makes me feel sad to read the tone on here when this article is about the situation young people find themselves in. Zero sympathy for the market factors at play that have led to this. Ford used to make some good reliable vehicles. But they were SIMPLE. Now, they're techy, complicated and kind of fragile. Then they price them way up, and put people into long term loans to pay for them. Prime example, the current F150 warranty is 5 years 60K miles. But they'll finance a loan for up to 84 months. I promise you, you’re not missing out on anything… not a God**** thing. Ford quality control is out of control… and my firsthand experience bears that out. I scoured the earth for a Mav hybrid last January, found one, pinched myself, and owned it for 4 days before it started to try to self-immolate. Read more

You clearly don’t interact with a lot of 55+ white men, because this shit is their jam. I only started watching it in the first place because my boss told me that it was “the best show of all time” and I kinda have some leftover 90's nostalgia for Costner. It’s fine. It’s basically hours and hours of people just Read more

This is Elon’s fault, tesla is Farley’s playbook and he is pissed he can’t do it. He is looking at that low low tesla cost and how they can cut 20% just because they want while keep up the backlog and still make profit. I have three of the cars (kinda) and one of the engines on this list. If you can’t work on cars then yeah, avoid them (though the Tuscan is actually incredibly simple and easy to work on). I’m surprised no one added V10 RS6 to the list as I can say from experience, the RS tax is real.

I’m disappointed; this wasn’t on the list???

These cars are not for the faint of heart. It also looks like I’ll need to replace one or more motor mounts soon, which is a lot of labor (plus they’re hydraulic-filled) I’m just going to let the shop drop the whole subframe and replace anything else that would need doing while the engine and transaxle are out of the Read more
