Oh its definitely the latter. Speaking from my experience in finance and lending, most people are driving around in cars they can’t afford. The last few years haven’t helped things because auto makers and dealers have been playing into peoples impulses. Custom ordering, wait lists, reservations, “First Editions”, they… Read more
I see them often too but you’re probably just seeing the same ones over and over again. According to the state’s Energy Commission on 3,392 Polestar 2s were registered in California in 2022. They don’t sell many. Read more
Its not that simple though and a lot of people seem to misunderstand. People-myself included- don’t want the warehouses at all anymore. The drive they had us on was short. I wish I had more time. But the two hours I did have it it drove fine and handles ok. Its not a sports sedan by any means. But on the short drive we had through the mountains it handled the curves pretty well. I tried to push the Sport trim to the limit and yea it wasn’t having it. Read more
Why can’t automakers and/or automotive journalists find / show us graphs of the power curves of these engines? They all blab all day long about peak hp and peak torque, but say nothing about the area under those power/torque curves. Does the bulk of the power come in sooner in the powerband? Its ridiculous as they routinely take up street parking. And a few of them sit and aren’t driven regularly. Who really needs two F-150s when one sits on the street 3 days… Read more
Just a bit, but it’s an overall average. Their data showed that the the average loan length was 69.7 months in Q4 2022 along with an average APR of 6.5%. I would’ve liked to see more data regarding these $1,000 payments though, specifically the length and APRs that came with them. Read more

I thought that too and checked. A lot of what I found was speculation, guesswork. But there is nothing new coming from them for 2023. The only new model that recently came out was the Q4 e-tron and thats been available since mid 2022. Porsche has the Macan EV coming but it’s not due out until 2024. Read more
