We rented the same Fiat which we drove from Florence to Siena where we were staying. We drove all over Tuscany through Montepulciano, Montalcino and Pienza. That Fiat handled everything. Including having the GPS take us behind a shopping mall into a field where the road ended while we were trying to get back to Siena. Read more

The two times I’ve been to Italy I was very surprised at how few Ferraris and Lamborghinis I saw, on the road over 2 visits to the country I think maybe 10. I too had to go to the Ferrari Museum to truly see some red cars. I also went to the Ducati factory and that is an amazing visit.

I had a 1984 528e with the 5 speed. Baltic Blue metallic. With the eta engine that redlined at 4350. At that time there was nothing in the US worth looking at and Lexus/Infiniti were yet to come.
