Fully agree there. The floating calipers on my WRX are plenty fine on track with good pads and fluid. There was probably a lot of consideration towards aesthetics in choosing to use these brakes for the e-tron.

The Chevy trucks don’t share a common enough hub design for them to be able to draw parts from the performance cars. The pistons in the calipers would also not be properly sized. They do offer an upgrade pack as a dealer installed accessory that uses a caliper design that is similar to the one used on the Camaro.
