Hopefully you get the chance to drive one and report back to us. Some of the initial feedback I’ve seen about the new QX80 is that Infiniti/Nissan did a good job addressing the luxury aspects, but that the ride quality is poor and the engine is merely “adequate”.  Read more

You know that’s some serious depreciation, when it drops $20k before you even buy it.  Back in my day, you at least had to drive off the lot.

This is why I laugh at the folks who spend like $3k on a SINGLE forged monoblock aluminum wheel (Or even higher priced for the 2/3 piece wheels...) from the high end luxury wheels companies like HRE and etc.... Read more

I believe this is also the bike he put a ton of miles (kilometers) on while on hiatus. A rush documentary talks about how he took time off after his wife and one of his children passed away and just rode back and forth across canada to get his mind straight. There were a few photos and the bike looks a lot like this Read more

Maybe I missed it but you need to check toe. I *thought* my GSW (same basic front end as the A3) was fine after I lowered it about 3/4" on Golf R springs. I was wrong. I grew up in Orlando in the 80's and we lowered everything, so I support this.  Read more

There is a segment of automotive enthusiasts that will utterly shit on anyone for lowering their vehicle even a tiny bit, but there is nothing wrong with a mild, reasonable drop, IMHO. I’ve owned my BRZ for over a decade now. It’s been lowered for 8 years. Even with a front lip, the lowered ride height here in Chicago

Glad to see I’m not the only one who blatantly ignores the “Don’t use an impact wrench” warning on those spring compressors...

I put a set of Dinan springs on my M240i, perfect! Dropped it down just a little, no scraping over postage stamps, really it goes over speed bumps and curbs just as well as before. The added stiffness offsets the lower ride height and the handling is more balanced and less initial body roll. Ride hasn’t changed much. Read more
