I find GT7's rain really disappointing. The spray is good, but the window accumulation is pretty awful and the wet track reflections can be very low quality. To each their own though. Highlighting Tokyo Expressway is a fair point, I was speaking more to the desire to have a game fully based around that culture and Read more

It’s fine not to like any band or artist or whatever, but I find that the people who seriously hate Foo Fighters just have an issue with seeing other people happy. Read more

First concert I ever went to was the Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace tour at what was the Izod Center in 2008. I saw them in 2015 at Citi Field; was going to see them again there this summer. They were my first favorite band, and all of this sucks. RIP Taylor Hawkins. Read more

As long as the game is enjoyable for people who do not want to use microtransactions (like GT Sport was), I don’t care if they’re there. I think the game will be enjoyable once these proposed changes take effect. Read more

Interesting theory I haven’t heard before! I’m sure sim diehards will fight that hard but I guess if we’re trying to capture what someone like Keiichi Tsuchiya probably feels when he’s driving, Ridge Racer may be closer to the sensation. Read more

I was thinking about Drift Stage a lot when I reacquainted myself with Slipstream today. Really sad end to that project too; had so much going for it. Read more

Sega enlisted M2 to essentially develop an arcade-perfect remake for Switch only, called Sega Ages Out Run. Would’ve been nice if that made it to other platforms. Read more

We will do another eventually! Maybe not for a little while, but something we’ll definitely return to from time to time. Read more

I’ve been waiting for a fun new snowboarding game for so long. I really didn’t like Steep, felt way too janky in motion. Excited to try this out. Read more

iRacing is great. It is pricey, yes, but if you want to get into sim racing, in terms of physics and the experience/quality of competition it provides, it is the last word. New members can get a year for $66 (it’s usually $100), so it’s at least a little cheaper for those starting out. Read more

Yeah, I’m disappointed too. Should have at least given out tickets or something. Read more

That’s the weird thing about the economy though. Right now, you’re earning lots of low to mid-tier cars through Menu Books. Once there are no more Menu Books to complete, that stops. So too do the tickets you’re getting awarded for completing some of the books, many of which are higher star levels later in the Cafe. Read more

There’s some theorizing that Polyphony is keeping the game down for longer to overhaul the economy because they realized they screwed up, especially by nerfing the Fisherman’s ranch payouts. But I think that’s wishful thinking. Read more

Ugh that’s so frustrating, I’m sorry. I was going to suggest the temporary data deletion. Fingers crossed a patch fixes it soon. Read more

Based Del Sol! Also shout out to the FTO LM Edition. Really would have liked an FTO in this game. Read more

Yup, this is a big issue. Frustrating too because you know they poured a lot of effort into those car models and, for example, we don’t know if some older cars have alternate interior colors because everyone has access to the same used cars in the same colors. Read more

Even better, you can only discard a car if you have more than one of it. They really push the car collection angle hard. Read more

I agree, there’s a panic here that is likely overinflated in the way local news tends to, but the fact it’s happening at all was pretty striking to me. I tried to find data on the actual prevalence of this crime nationwide, but it’s tough. Especially to compare it to what’s been going on over the last month. Read more
