Good catch. Looked into it and technically it’s adapted from CLAR, but not the same. I’ll clarify that. Read more

That’s a good point! I expected that a more modern, more expensive car would place it more prominently. Again, one of those things you learn once and never question again. Not a huge deal — again, my bigger complaint was that there’s not a whole lot you can do with that screen in general. Read more

Each manufacturer really had its own design language. In some cases, the cars were of course derivative from real-world models but looked even better, or at least different enough to stand on their own. The Terrazi Troop is a good example of this, with a mixture of Porsche 996-era headlights coupled with a totally… Read more
My favorite game of all time, and one that left a profound impact on me in so many ways. Literally shaped my taste in design and music. Set a bar for the artistry that is possible in this genre that, despite decades of newer hardware that’s exponentially more powerful, has still yet to be surpassed in my opinion. Ridge… Read more

So I read an excerpt from Hazel’s review of the new season and I feel like I’m going to hate it...I’ve been on the fence about DTS forever and this one seems like it goes fully off the deep end. Read more

So long as you can live with the range, the Mini SE is great! And I know you can. I just wish it was a smidge lighter. Read more
That’s what I thought too! I suppose because I didn’t dance on that edge I didn’t feel it bite back, but as you say — before that point, everything really did feel great. I was surprised how easy it was to drive. Especially the transmission. The clutch wasn’t hard to figure out, and even though we were told to start… Read more
Yes! Would love to stream Sega GT 2002. Such a fun game, not to mention a weird one with so many strange but delightful inclusions in the car roster. Jiotto Caspita, Nissan MID4, that Vemac...what a classic. Read more
To be perfectly honest with you I don’t get it either, but I’ve never been big into watching people play video games myself. Still, it was fun to chat with Steve, watch him destroy a Camaro at Trial Mountain and of course take comments and questions from viewers, so we’ll do it until somebody tells us to stop! Read more
Fair argument! I think we’ll have a little more insight on that deeper into this generation, when supplies stabilize a bit and cross-gen releases aren’t as necessary. Hopefully. Maybe. Read more
It’s not any engine in any car, but you can win engines in prize roulettes. Those engines can sometimes go in cars other than what they were intended for. I’ve seen an LT1 in an ND Miata, as I linked in the review. The trouble is you’re not told off the bat what motors can go in what cars, so it seems to be a little… Read more
