When Afroduck was found guilty of reckless driving and reckless endangerment for driving around Manhattan in 24 minutes, we all expected that he would get the maximum sentence of a year in jail. Guess what? That's exactly what just happened.
The New York Daily News reports that Afroduck was officially sentenced yesterday in absentia, given that he is currently on the lam in his native Canada.

Who knows if New York will try and extradite him for misdemeanor charges. They may not have to — Afroduck's pregnant wife still lives in NYC, and if he comes back to see her, he'll get hauled into the slammer.
