The Ferrari P4/5 Competizione privateer racing team spent the weekend practicing for its debut at this year's 24 Hours of Nürbrugring. Everyone there had a camera. Everyone took photos/video of it. Here's the best of.
Video numero uno comes via Broekie/DigitalSpeedVideos, who managed to capture the car on much of the track with a Nikon D7000 and heightens the effect with some clever lens/filter work.
As you're well familiar after reading these pages, the P4/5 is a custom-bodied, F430 Scuderia-based one-off racer from Jim Glickenhaus, who also owns the streetable Ferrari P4/5 in custom Pininfarina body.
The photo above and the one to the right of the P4/5C undergoing a little prep work both come courtesy of the team's Facebook page.
Finally, the team was also kind enough to supply in-car video of the vehicle on the track for the first lap with Luca Cappellari behind the wheel. Unfortunately, a red-flagged stopped him early so you'll have to guess at what sort of time Luca was making and compare it to your own exploits in Forza 3 and Gran Turismo 5.
Either way, I think the team earned their Capri Suns based purely on the buzz they generated.
