The new Chevrolet Colorado is debuting at the LA Auto Show and will herald a new future of small-ish American trucks that we've all been begging for. Damn, it's great to be an American again.
Similar, though not identical, to the global Chevy Colorado sold around the world, the new Colorado fills a space that's largely been abandoned by the major automakers since Ford discontinued the Ranger and Dodge and Chevy outsourced their small trucks to Asian builders.
Mark Reuss has promised the new Colorado will be uniquely American and fill a role their new large trucks can't. We just want it with a stick and a diesel engine.
Here's Chevy's new small pickup in all its glory thanks to an early Edmunds leak. We don't know anything else other than it looks pretty good, right?
Update: Looks like Edmunds took the video down.
