Bill Gates used to get into a lot of trouble for using certain turbocharged Porsches as God intended. We forgive him because he helped pushing through "show and display" laws, making Jerry Seinfeld very happy. But there are some celebrities who were plain idiots on the road, and here are ten of the worst.

10.) Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods made the mistake of cheating on his wife. Being related to vikings, she didn't take kindly and allegedly smashed his car with a golf club (what else?) while he was backing off the driveway, making Tiger drive his GM-loaned Escalade into a fire hydrant. Only in Florida, right?

9.) Ted Kennedy

In 1969, Edward 'Ted' Kennedy drove his Oldsmobile 88 into a canal with his secretary in the passenger seat. He managed to escape, Mary Jo did not, but the senator only reported the incident once the car had been discovered.

This is what the rescue diver had to say about that:

It looked as if she were holding herself up to get a last breath of air. It was a consciously assumed position. ... She didn't drown. She died of suffocation in her own air void. It took her at least three or four hours to die. I could have had her out of that car twenty-five minutes after I got the call. But he [Ted Kennedy] didn't call.

8.) The Sultan of Brunei

Hassanal Bolkiah spent more government money on cars than anybody in history, yet he let his priceless prototypes and custom exotica rot without ever driving most of them.

Saving those cars and getting them out of Brunei is a difficult task, and time is against them.

7.) Will.i.am

Black Eyed Peas founder William Adams famously misled about his "ghetto built" new car brand in the media and things went pretty well until we discovered it was just a DeLorean customized by West Coast Customs. Which he denied.

Publicity stunt or not, it was pathetic.

6.) Justin Bieber

Yesterday's drunk-drugged-drag racing Lambo incident wasn't the first time Justin Bieber did foolish things with cars. His chrome-foiled Fisker Karma assaulted our eyes the same way his music assaults our ears.

5.) O.J. Simpson

Being foolish and tragic at the same time, OJ Simpson was leading the cops to his house while having a loaded gun and possibly a very unstable state of mind. He was only going downhill from here.

4.) Eddie Griffin

One of his lesser known movies was Understeer Brother.

Well, at least this Enzo got saved.

There's an excellent photo of Miles Davis and his Miura right here from the author of The Lamborghini Miura Bible, and you know the rest of this coketastic story...

1.) Vince Neil

Get this: the singer of Mötley Crüe and his friend got into his DeTomaso Pantera drunk to get more drunk by taking a trip to a local liquor store. Obviously, he lost control and hit an oncoming vehicle, killing his occupant and seriously injuring two people in the other car.

The sentence? 30 days in prison (which ended up being 15 thanks to good behavior), five years on probation, $2.6 million in damages and 200 hours of community service. It's amazing what a good lawyer can do, isn't it?
