It's the year of the Snake in China. That means it's time for automakers to start pandering to the hugely expanding Chinese market!
One of the first I've seen is this, the Dartz Black Snake, a new truck from our most favorite Latvian car company. In typical Dartz fashion, the normally over-the-top automaker goes even over-the-topier with diamond encrusted hood ornaments and exotic interior leathers like crocodile, shark skin, or even the oft-requested whale penis available, which we assume is the fake kind.
Thank God!
The non-armored Black Snake is made of aluminum and is based on the Mercedes G63 AMG. That means it has the 5.5 liter twin turbo V8 with 557 horses and 560 pounds of twist. That's paired with AMG ride control suspension.
It's going to cost about $1,000,000 when it goes on sale at the end of January in China.
