A complex, clever, nail-biting race on a dry Shanghai International Circuit brought the F1 season’s first part to a close with terrific racing and laps upon laps of drama. But was it just a bit too dramatic? Warning: spoilers.

This Porsche Carrera GT caught fire at a track day at the Shanghai International Circuit, burning to a crisp shell before marshals were able to extinguish the blaze. Strangely poetic accident report below.

We made it over to the Shanghai Grand Prix again yesterday for some F1 action, but the weather was most definitely not on our side. We'll put it this way, we got wet. Spoilers below.

We're back at the Shanghai International Circuit today to catch F1 qualifying action for Sunday's Chinese GP as well as immersing ourselves in the interesting sights and sounds going on right outside the track.

We're here in China with little to do today, so we thought we'd head out to the Shanghai International Circuit to catch the first two Formula One practice rounds before Sunday's 2009 Chinese Grand Prix.
