Would You Give It All Up For A 500 Horsepower ’67 Mustang?

This is a custom-built '67 Mustang fastback. It's got a 500 horsepower 402 ci Roush V8. That's worth leaving your job, home, friends and family for, right?

Welcome to Morning Would, where we present you with some of the most desirable, controversial cars ever built and ask what you would do to drive one.

Friend of Jalopnik and part-time chili enthusiast Douglas Sonders shot this fastback a while back and we think it approaches perfection. Really, is there anything holding you down that you wouldn't trade for the open road and a cover shoot-grade hot rod Mustang?

BoxerFanatic, troublesome iconoclast.

Change the wheels to something with a little more tire, and a little more classic resto-mod look... like some 18" replicas of classic mustang wheels... good to go... and I usually like 65-66 and 69-70 Mustangs more than 67-68.

But no car is worth giving up necessities like home, freinds, and family... or a decent job to pay the bills.

I'd give up a sucky job for it, though.

It is a nice looking resto-mod... as long as it doesn't have 8 lights on the front, like some "eleanor smell-eanor" redux.

One thing that would have made it even cooler, as a resto-mod... Cougar-izing it. A 67 Cougar fastback would be great, just by being a bit more unique.
