We asked our readers earlier this week to name the worst concept cars ever showcased by an automaker. Readers submitted various answers ranging from the Tesla Cybertruck and its smashed windows to a defense of the very concept of a concept car. However, most comments highlighted the most hideous wheeled machines produced by a manufacturer. Without further ado, here they are: - Ryan Erik King Read More

Off-roading and off-road-focused vehicles have never been more popular than they are right now. Anyway, this newfound love of off-roading that is sweeping the nation got me thinking, and it’s what led me to the question I posed last week. - Andy Kalmowitz Read More

Modern cars come with some incredible tech installed these days, including cruise control that can take the pain out of highway driving, massaging seats that soothe your soul and crystal clear stereos. But not every automotive tech is created equal, some is pretty awful. - Owen Bellwood Read More

Maybe it’s a sign that at the ripe old age of 28 I’m becoming jaded, but I don’t think many modern cars look as good as they did just a few years or restyles ago. That’s not to say it’s impossible to produce a truly show-stopping automobile in the year 2024, it just takes a lot of work and money to make sure the design complies with those measures. - Logan Carter Read More

The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance was this weekend, and the winner was an unrestored 1934 Bugatti Type 59 Sports. While it’s a beautiful car, it also made history as the first car from the preservation class to win the big award. Maybe one of these days we’ll see another post-war car take the whole thing, but it certainly wasn’t this year. - Collin Woodard Read More

Well, Monterey Car Week has wrapped up, Pebble Beach has gone back to being a regular golf course and now we’re stuck waiting an entire year to find out which pre-WWII car will win the Concours d’Elegance in 2025. It’s truly exciting stuff. The thing is, though, eventually the cars that are new and relatively normal to see on the road eventually become rare and valuable. So if we look far enough into the future, theoretically, a lot of the cars we see today will have the chance to be Concours winners in the future. - Collin Woodard Read More
