Burning dead dinos isn't the only way to go fast.

This is Earthrace, a biodiesel-powered trimarand built by a Kiwi former oil industry engineer back in 2007. With two 540 horsepower Cummins engines onboard, the boat can top out at 45 knots. In 2008, set a record for circumnavigating the globe on biodiesel.

It got turned an anti-whaling PR boat and then it crashed and sunk, but it still holds its title.

Surely you know of another vehicle not powered by fossil fuel that's even faster.
