What's The Best Intra-German Collaboration?

With Volkswagen attempting to put Porsche in its place, we spent the morning reminiscing of the many times ze German teamed up to build things (instead of destroying them). What's the best intra-German collaboration?

Were we going to offer up any answer other than the Audi RS2 Avant? The car was Audis post-Quattro attempt at building a sportier sedan for the masses. Except, they didn't build a sedan. They started with their Avant station wagon. And who was their partner in crime? None other than the boys at Porsche, who build the car and designed the turbocharged vehicle to hit an insane 160 mph. It could outsprint a McLaren F1 to 30 mph. We love ze Germans because of vehicles like this.
