We love a good chase scene as much as the next guy, but sometimes we don't want to see characters using cars, we want to see character blasting cars to kingdom come.
These scenes are made all the better when the car itself is a beautiful car that has a deep and emotional attachment with one of the characters. Ideally, that character gets to watch the car get blown up and weep on screen at its demise. It's called schadenfreude. The new Bond flick, Skyfall, is lacking in personal woe, but throwing a bunch of New Beetles off a train gets good marks in our book.
What's the best destruction of a car (or many, many cars) in a movie?
