FY Racing is one of the best teams in American rallying — their Subaru is a hugely impressive, anti-lag chirping machine, but it's not as expensive or as advanced as the big budget factory teams with whom they compete. They're a big name in the pits, but they're still something of an underdog. That and they're just really crazy guys.
But they have had the worst luck at the previous round of the Rally America series, STPR in Pennsylvania last month. All they wanted to do was finish this year, and that's all that didn't happen.
This is how it feels to run an event and crash out at almost the last moment. It might focus on gravel-spitting rally cars, but the sentiment holds true for all racing. Watch the video and you'll see what I mean.
