This is American rally driver Brenten Kelly in his Subaru getting more than a little sideways at a spectator corner on the Oregon Trail Rally this year. His codriver Ron Erickson doesn't seem to mind.

Okay, I'll bite: hey DustyVentures (or others), what does it take to set up a Subaru to be able to pull handbrake slides on asphalt - or anywhere - without it wreaking havoc with the transmission? It seems like it would be a disastrous thing to suddenly stop the rear wheels (or do they just go for the clutch and hope it's timed perfectly?) for a turn.
