The 2015 GMC Sierra Denali 2500 Diesel is a big ol' comfy truck with a long name and grille you could cook a whole hog on. We'll be evaluating it all week, so fire away with what you want to know and what you want to see me try in it. I'll do my best to oblige!
We've had the gasoline-versions of GM's new-for-2015 Heavy Duty trucks both towing and off-roading, but I'm excited get you all acquainted with the ultralux Denali Diesel.
After a five-mile shakedown of this truck, the first thing I noticed is that the GMC infotainment skin is much more pleasant and comprehensive than what's in the Chevy equivalent. The seat is a great place to be, and the diesel rumble is reassuringly glorious.
I must confess heavy diesels are pretty much perfect for my driving style: Ahead Dead Slow with windows down, heaters max'd and Brad Paisley on blast. So I might warm up to this truck pretty quickly.
I'll start off by answering your first question straight off; yes the exhaust pipe is indeed "fistable" you freaks.
