The intersection of Manhattan's Essex and Delancey streets has seen more than 130 injuries and three fatalities since 2006. This year, the NYC DOT banned all left turns to calm things down, but even the cops are breaking the rule.

Animal New York followed the DOT's instructions to Gothamist to watch the intersection feeding off the Williamsburg Bridge. No less than 20 cars broke the law, including four cops.

One motorist spoke for the people's utter regard for the ban.

I turn here anytime. You think I give a fuck about the corner? I turn here anytime. I don't care if the cops are there or not. I don't give a fuck about them. They can stand there all day. I'ma keep on going. (laughs)
