Mercedes had their slightly disguised CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake Test Mule on hand at last weekend's Goodwood Festival of Speed to tease the model to the large crowd of car lovers and do a few excellent burnouts.

Shortly after officially introducing the standard CLS wagon at Goodwood, Mercedes rolled out this thinly disguised CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake test mule for the hill climb event. The car was driven by former DTM champion and current AMG ambassador Bernd Schneider.

As we revealed early last week, the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake will feature a 5.5 liter twin turbo V8 capable of producing 549 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. All that power is packaged in a stylish wagon capable of either 23 mpg or producing smoke shows like the one seen here on demand. We want one bad.
