Sure, modern auto racing is great. But the Goodwood Revival is the stuff of dreams for people who appreciate classic cars and historic racing, and you don’t even have to be in the U.K. in order to watch it—the event will stream live on YouTube all weekend.

The weekend’s racing schedule is light anyway, so it’s a good time to check out the events that go on at Goodwood Circuit if you never have. The Revival is a unique event, where classic race cars head out on the track to celebrate the “Golden Age” of racing from the 1940s to the late 1960s. Visitors dress up along with the theme, and it makes for a fun racing environment—even if you’re just watching on a computer somewhere.

The stream runs from 4:20 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. ET both Saturday and Sunday, and an embed can be found below. The track is getting soaked by rain as of about 11 a.m. ET on Saturday, making the races even more entertaining.

Enjoy the show, wherever you are.

I spent last weekend drooling over classic cars in person at Lime Rock Park’s HF34. If you’re motivated then go to the Glen this weekend for their historics.

Sure beats watching a vid. [no offense Alanis ;~]
