Watch SpaceX's Falcon 9 Explode In High-Def During Latest Landing

SpaceX has tried to land its CRS-6 first stage rocket on a barge in the middle of the ocean three times. And each time it's failed. But damn if it doesn't make for some spectacular video.

After yesterday's failure, Elon Musk said that Falcon landed fine, but because of excess velocity, it tipped over once the stage rocket touched down.

After yesterday’s failure, Elon Musk said that Falcon landed fine, but because of excess velocity, it tipped over once the stage rocket touched down.

This is some primo double-speak. I’m honestly surprised he hasn’t run for political office yet.

Other good examples would be:

After yesterday’s failure, Mary Barra said that the Cruze drove fine, but because of excess keyfob length, it tipped over once the front bumper touched the guardrail.

After yesterday’s failure, Deke Slayton said that the Odyssey flew fine, but because of excess oxygen-copper exposure, it experienced unintended velocity over once the integrity of the service module fell below optimal levels.
