Sure, you can jump a school buses with a motorcycle, but what about jumping motorcycles with a bus? One brave stuntman asked this question in the most testing manner possible.
Jimmy “the Flying Greek” Koufis executed this jump back in 1980, as part of the pre-show for the Volunteer 500 NASCAR Busch series race at Bristol. Koufis actually worked as a bus driver in California.
Koufis claimed he worked on the jump for three years, double-rollcaging the bus and consulting with a physicist to figure out the ideal jumping speed.
And he still ripped the front axle off the bus.
