Ever since Italian tractor magnate Ferruccio Lamborghini decided to break into the car business as a result of dissatisfaction with his own Ferrari the two Italian supercar companies have been in direct competition.
With this in mind it seems only natural that Lamborghini wasn't content to give Ferrari even the title of "most likely Italian exotic to set itself on fire."
Ever since the 458 Italia was officially recalled because of the cars tendency to set itself on fire, Lamborghinis around the world have been playing catch-up in an act of rebellion—setting themselves on fire everywhere from the racetrack to the streets of the Czech Republic.
The latest casualty in the fiery competition to be the Italian supercar king of self immolation comes to us from just outside the small town of Kilburn in Derbyshire, United Kingdom. This video footage was captured by a passing biker around 2pm on Monday.
As you can see, not to be outdone by anything from Maranello this orange Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder decided to set itself on fire in grand fashion by the side of the British road.
