Top Gear Korea, the South Korean adaptation of the BBC standard, crashed a retired army AH1 Cobra attack helicopter in Arizona last Thursday. Both pilots are fine. The helicopter, however, is toast.
The helicopter was filming a typically Top Gear segment, a comparo-test between a Corvette to a helicopter. The ‘copter reportedly crashed due to a mechanical malfunction, but an official investigation is still underway.

This isn't the first time that the Top Gear franchise has had trouble with helicopters: back in 2009, the TGUK crew had to make an emergency landing in 2009 when a seagull flew into a rotor while they were flying over Auckland, New Zealand on a Top Gear Live tour.
