I tend to find my best videos by just searching for good-sounding keywords in youtube. 'Volvo destruction' is almost always good, like 'audi drift' but not like 'maserati burnout,' which is almost always a disappointment. In any case, what started as a fruitless 'thunder space cats' quickly turned up gold when it transformed into 'thunder in the high mountains.' It seemed like such an over-the-top phrase that something interesting would turn up, and it did.
This is Toyah's 'Thunder in the Mountains.' I know absolutely nothing about it. I deliberately chose not to read the video caption. I am continuing not to google who Toyah is, or when this song was recorded, or what this music video is about. Is it a theme song to a movie, the video made out of clips, like The Vandals' song 'Urban Struggle,' used in the 1987 punk not-so-classic Dudes?
Or is the video just some weirdo vid of a crazy hair '80s lady rocking in a horse-drawn carriage?
Or more importantly, is that an MG window perched above that Fiat grille?
