As we mentioned on Saturday, the Texas Mile is not for the faint of heart.
But if you think guys like Sean Kennedy are tough for setting a 263 mph record in a cracked-out Hennessey Ford GT, try doing something like that on a motorcycle.
That's exactly what rider Jennifer Robertson did this at this weekend's Mile. Let's all say congratulations to Robertson, because she is now the world's fastest female motorcycle rider in a standing mile. According to our pal photographer Zerin Dube, Robertson set a speed record of 243.6 mph on her Suzuki Hayabusa.
Robertson is definitely a woman after our own hearts here at Jalopnik. According to this profile in Motorcycle USA, she's a veteran motorcycle racer who has long had a goal of exceeding 250 mph at the Texas Mile. Congrats on the awesome record!
