NASCAR has a history of laughably wonderful race names. This weekend’s 400-miler in Chicago sits atop them all as the most cowabunga-filled yet. It’s the TMNT 400 this weekend and I am extremely excited.
This race got announced back in April, with a predictable April O’Neil tie-in, but only now are we gearing up proper for the race. Again, it’s the 15th-18th, this weekend, and it’s from the same Nickelodeon partnership that gave us last year’s Spongebob 400 at Kansas and will give us another race name next year, as NASCAR has said before.

I wish I could be there, guzzling radiation-topped pizza like all my favorite turtles used to do. Right? They did that, right? It’s been a long time, man.
