This is not an ordinary Ford Focus RS. It is, though, one mean-looking hot hatchback prototype.
Speculation around the interwebs thinks this thing is an upcoming Ford Focus RS500, as noted by the original video uploader and by Road & Track.
Ford has done RS500s (that’s a production run of 500 cars, not 500 horsepower) before, and it’s quite possible they would do one like it again. The specs remain very much unknown, and listen closely to the exhaust. Is that the tell-tale fart of an double-clutch transmission upshift?
