This Proves Lincoln Can Get Car Ads Right Without Tweets And Jimmy Fallon

See, Lincoln? You don't need bullshit social media gimmicks and an un-funny late night host to do a good ad. You guys did just fine on your own with this one.

Presumably, the other boring, crowd-sourced ad will be running at some point during the game, but can all ignore it because this is the superior one.

One thing I liked about it: Lincoln has to run a disclaimer at the bottom letting you know that driving a Town Car into fire will not magically transform it into a new MKZ. That's a shame. I was gonna try that when we got one to review.

To the people who keep clamouring about it not being RWD - oh give it a rest.

Like that one thing is a make or break item for you, like you were spending 50k on this car anyways.

Like the target market GIVES A SHIT about such a thing.

Ask the market that this MKZ is aimed that, ask them if they care about drivetrain.

For people in the North, its AWD that becomes a higher priority and I'd like to take a poll of all Merc and BMW owners out there who even know they have RWD cars. Or even care.

The FWD/AWD strategy seems to work for Audi yet no one is bitching at them for it.

There isn't a single RWD car in the commercial lineup for Audi, yet they get cut slack?
