Here’s something we can file under “extremely tragic”: People don’t talk about the Vector W8 nearly as much as they should. And when they do talk about the early 1990s supercar, they don’t mention its wacko interior. But they should!
The folks at RM Auctions will be auctioning off this sparkling red 1992 Vector W8 Twin Turbo at their Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance event in August. The car caught my eye today because Vectors are so crazy they make Countachs look like Accord Coupes.
But more than anything, I was struck by the W8's interior. I’ve never really taken the time to look at one before. Take a glimpse, it’s fantastic in there.
The leather! The bolstering! The seat-mounted controls! The MASSIVE 10-disc CD changer with and stereo system!
So many buttons! It has all the buttons! And that screen. That SCREEN! It has all kinds of, you know, digital shit!
You don’t sit on those seats, you strap yourself in and feel the G’s.
That’s the gear shifter. I mean, holy crap.
It looks like the best place to spend time.
Of course, it’s a Vector, so it looks zany on the outside too. Check out RM Auctions for more pics. Someone needs to give this thing a great home come August.
