One of Europe’s top aviation photographers, Frank Crebas, was along for the ride in a F-16BM as Dutch F-16s intercepted a pair of B-52H Stratofortresses during Exercise Polar Growl. The result was this amazing image of an F-16 over a B-52 with its shadow perfectly aligned on the big bomber’s spine.
Frank is currently enjoying aviation photography heaven as a gaggle of US F-15C Eagles from the Florida ANG have descended on Leeuwarden Airbase for some joint USAF and Royal Netherlands Air Force training:
A big thanks to Frank Crebas for allowing us to show off his awesome work. Hopefully we will see more of his amazing work here in the future, in the meantime make sure to go to is website to see many more gorgeous aviation shots like the ones above.
