The first unit of the first entry into the full-size pickup truck market by Japan's number one super-best awesome auto manufacturer rolled off the assembly line today at ToMoCo's all-new Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas (TMNT, turtle power!) production facility Friday, at a ceremony featuring the Guv of the state known mainly for steers and — well — the now gay-friendly Dallas, Rick Perry and Toyota Prez Katsuaki "Ken" Watanabe. Although we weren't there — we're assuming our invite was just lost in the mail — we did have our very own embedded reporter, code-named "Tokyo Rose," on the ground to provide us some exclusive first-hand pics of the goings-on. Check the camera phone campiness in the gallery below.

Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas is TMMT, not TMNT.

Irony would be if they started exporting the trucks to japan, and the the japanese kids bought them and started tricking them out ADM style to make them look like their american counterparts.
