NASA's known for their clever pranks, including slipping porn into Apollo checklists, so it comes as no surprise this poor truck's been given the full reflective foil treatment sitting in the Kennedy Space Center's parking lot.
This photo comes courtesy of Jalopnik reader toastforbrekkie, who happened to be wandering around the parking lot when he noticed the Chevy Avalanche covered from roof-to-wheel in tin foil and tape.

But maybe we're looking at this wrong. Maybe the engineer/scientist/astronaut is trying to increase the albedo of the truck and therefore lower the temperature inside. Astronauts do use reflective foil (often gold-coated) to reduce the effect of the sun's rays. Same idea, right?
