You bet your ass I'm fired up about Dodge's 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat-powered Challenger SRT. 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque is nothing short of absurd in a car. Now it's time for Chrysler to prove they've completely lost their shit and stuff that engine into a pickup truck.
I started writing this as a joke, but the more I think about it... why not? Who cares if it's "safe" or "useable," they already mashed a Viper engine into a pickup once and I've gotta believe Chrysler could find a handful of maniacs who'd plunk down suitcases of cash (you're right; probably more like high-risk high-interest loans) to get themselves into the new World's Craziest Muscle Truck.
Ram has made it clear that they're not interested in attacking the Raptor in the "desert runner" space, and the new Ram 2500 Power Wagon is a monster but not necessarily bedroom-poster material.
Chrysler— you need an ass-hauling halo truck. Do it. Dooo it.
