The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is America's most powerful production car. That's why it comes with two keys.
While the black fob keeps the boost down to give you 500 horsepower, use the red one, and that supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat engine will answer with 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque sent through the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic.
Guess what happens to the rear wheels at that point...

Let's hope those Brembos can take the heat. Dodge says the Hellcat also a homage to a true Mopar classic:
The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has been redesigned and totally re-engineered to be the most true-to-form muscle coupe on the market with performance-enhancing technologies inside and out, including the new TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-new interior inspired by the classic 1971 Challenger.

*$13 for 48 AA, $12 for 48 AAA, $8 for 20 AAA, $8 for four 9V batteries
Remember when the Viper's 640 horsepower V10 was a shocker? Well, Dodge's first factory supercharged HEMI just made the Challenger Hellcat the most powerful muscle car in history.

Your move, Shelby!

If it's still a plastic fantastic car on the inside, I won't buy one. Dodge has probably the worst interior quality from an American car maker. It's sad. I didn't buy a Challenger because I got in and my 5 year old RSX was nicer inside.
