Renault is known for building the most rewarding front-wheel drive cars lately, and the new Megane 275 Trophy is the latest in the line with 275 horsepower and a proper limited-slip differential.

But the list of goodies doesn't stop there with this limited edition car. The two-liter turbocharged engine got ten extra horsepower bringing the total to 275 at 5,500 rpm, while maximum torque (265 foot pounds) is available from 3,000 to 5,000 rpm. A new Akrapovič titanium exhaust system makes it grunt, too, while shredding some weight.

While the Cup chassis and the clever diff is part of the base package, the 275 Trophy can be also equipped with adjustable Öhlins dampers and springs just like the new Ariel Atom 3.5R, while those aiming for some track day fun can have it with a set of 19 inch alloys wrapped in sticky Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

Inside, you'll find Alcantara/leather Recaro buckets and enough red stitching to make you feel like you're in a supercar, not to mention the alloy gear lever knob and the trio of aluminum pedals.

Gotta love the French.
