The Jaguar F-Type R Coupe Eats Tires Faster Than A Motörhead Riff

Here's the thing about the F-Type R Coupe: the 911 is more precise, the R8 is a proper supercar and the Aston Martin V8 Vantage is more comfortable on the road. And none of those things matter at all.

Jaguar knows how to make a GT. Instead, they built a full on lunatic this time. The F-Type R probably has too much torque and a rather unforgiving suspension, but who cares if the end result is a 543 horsepower thunderstorm that's beautiful, provides endless fun and most importantly: not German.

Buyers of the F-Type R Coupe won't mind if a 911 Turbo blasts past them on the Autobahn. Instead, they will listen to a supercharged V8 echoing from the surrounding mountains, ordering new tires online cheerfully while going faster than the locals would dare.
