New York City is a big and wonderful place, full of all sorts of weird people. Luckily for us, many of those weird people also drive weird and lovely cars. Because of that, I decided to take a look back at some of my car spotting highlights from 2023.

What you’re not going to find here is high-priced exotics. No, no, those aren’t interesting. There are only so many McLarens you can look at before not caring. Instead, I wanted to highlight the oddities I saw this year, and there were many. If I had the time (or the drive) this story could have been twice as long.

These may not be the craziest cars in the world, but they are the cars that define New York (if you pretend taxis don’t exist). They’re all weird, and lovely and unique, just like the people who live here.

Anyway, why don’t ya sit back and take a look at the weirdest stuff I saw on the streets of New York City in 2023?
