Traffic sucks, so why not start your morning off with some music? You provide the toast and we'll provide the jams.
Ok, so here we have one of the first big songs from the Mailman, Forty Water, Earl Stevens, Captain Save A Ho himself, E-40. It's his '94 song with his group The Click, 'Mr. Flamboyant.'
And man, E-40 can rap on this thing. There's nobody else who could pull off saying "extra mannish" on a record, let alone call out a cognac lounge beat.
But there's one line I just can't parse, and I figured one of you could hear it better than I. So he's rapping about protecting a drug spot with an AR-15, and then he gets rolled up on by some random dude at 2:07 in. Something about shoes I mean wheels, and a 1976 Cutlass Oldsmobile. Turning 360s like he was in an Alaskan... something.
If you can get the whole lyric, I will be very happy, and #raplopnik will have another entry.
