The Cadillac ELR, Caddy's more upmarket version of the Chevy Volt, will be officially debuting mid-January at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. Of course, they couldn't resist leaking a little teaser image.
The car, which is loosely based on their Converj concept, will be Cadillac's first electric-hybrid car, and as such is pretty important. That's why we climbed down the long access ladder to the Jalopnik Mainframe, buried 15 stories below Martin Short's downtown sex loft in Los Angeles.
We'd just upgraded the Mainframe with new image-enhancing technology we developed by watching Blade Runner. So, we fed the image in, screamed "enhance" several times, and got this stunning result you can use the slider to see.
